I migrated a SiteFinity site from one hosting provider to another.

On the new hosting provider the edit page shows the text "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." below editable widgets (?). When we changed DNS back to the old hosting provider, the same error showed up. Nothing was changed on the old hosting provider.

Is this a licensing issue?

Doesn't sound like a license issue...the license is to the domain not the host.

Open the log file, see the stack trace on the error, paste it in here

I made a mistake. The old site is working fine.

Here's some more details.

- SiteFinity version is 3.7

- Old site is hosted on WIndows 2008 R2

- New site is hosted on WIndows 2012 R2.

- EVerything with the exception of the edit page works fine

- Javascript console in Chrome tracked the error to the overlayUI object had not been initialized

Were you able to find solution to "Object reference not set" error on page edit?
