I am running an installation of Sitefinity 7.3. I have manually generated my sitemap.xml file. However, the URLs are both (.gz and .xml) returning 404. I am sure that Sitefinity is handling XML files because the 404 appears in the error log.

Thoughts?

Hello Jonathan,

Can you please check if the generated urls for the sitemap under Administration -> Settings -> Basic Settings -> Sitemap reflect the domain of your website?

In addition to this, please refer to the following article for more details about the sitemap configurations in your current Sitefinity version (version 7.3).
