Removing ?sfvrsn=X from resource urls
I'm currently working on page speed improvements for a SiteFinity project, and one of the issues being recommended to us is to remove query string params in things like images.
Resources with a "?" in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching servers.
Is it possible to have images load on the website without including the ?sfvrsn=0 or whatever number would be at the end. When I try trying in the image url without this query string attribute the image appears to load fine.
I found this: www.sitefinity.com/.../changing-urls-of-documents-and-pdfs
"This can be done from the advanced settings for libraries, just remove the value in UrlVersionQueryParameter and save. "
