Incompatibility trying to edit Sitefinity project 8.2.XX in

Hi everyone!

I installed the Sitefinity project manager v. 8.2.5900.0 and created a new project, i have access to the backend, But when im trying to edit the project in Visual Studio 2010 i have an incompatibility error (THIS PROJECT IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE CURRENT VERSION OF VISUAL STUDIO). Any solution? i can´t install another VS.

I hava another Sitefinity Project in V. 7.2.5310.0 and i don´t have any problem with VS2010, May i download a new project in V. 7.2.XXXX?

Hi Jhon,

Required revision of the Visual Studio for development of the Sitefinity 8.2 are Microsoft® Visual Studio 2012, 2013, and 2015.

Please read our documentation on System requirements for development of the Sitefinity 8.2 at http://docs.sitefinity.com/system-requirements.

If you have the license of the older version of the Sitefinity, the project manager of the Sitefinity of that version can be downloaded through account associated with that version.
