Backend not working on mobiles

I'm having an odd issue when accessing the backend on a mobile device, and I can't tell if it's there by design or if it's a bug.

When I try and access the backend on a mobile device I am able to load the dashboard but I am unable to click on anything and the menu isn't visible anywhere. Is it the case that the backend isn't supported on mobiles?

Even a non-responsive backend design is better then no access whatsoever.

Can anyone help me with this?

ditto. ios 8 & 10. & reponsive view on desktop. can't click
