The type initializer for 'Telerik.Sitefinity.Security.SecurityManager' threw an exception, After windows 10 Updates
I have several developers working on the same Sitefinity 7.3.5610.0 project. Last night, one of the developer's machines did a Microsoft Windows update. Now, when that single developer tries to run the code locally, they are getting:
[TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Telerik.Sitefinity.Security.SecurityManager' threw an exception.]
An item with the same key has already been added.
All of the other developers are still able to work and debug the project without issues. We are also able to deploy the compiled code to our testing environments. So it seems like this is an issue related directly to the updated machine.
Just curious if anyone else has run into this issue? If so, are there any solutions>
Thanks,
Devin
Hi Devin,
You need to rollback windows update or you need to upgrade Sitefintiy to 7.3.5671.0
