Custom widget designers

Hello all,

Is there a way I could have two views for same designer and validate which one to use?

You can have multiple designer files, just put whatever you want instead of "Simple" in the name - "DesignerView.MyCustomName.cshtml". I am not sure how you could programmatically choose which one will show.
