Deploying items created in SF Thunder to web farm?

Hi Telerik Team,

I can use Sitefinity Thunder to create a layout template in development, and register it for use within Sitefinity 5. 

We currently deploy straight from TFS using MSBuild and MSDeploy. We have a proprietary tool to manage DB deploys.

Does adding new templates or widgets to Sitefinity using Thunder make database changes? If it does, how would you recommend we deploy them to the different environments? We'd like to keep our process completely managed by TFS.
