How to add .master page in existing Project

I added as WesiteTemplate in an existing Sitefinity Project (not an Telerik Sitefinity Website Template Project).

This will add the basic stuff as well as an App_Master folder with a default .master file.
When I want to add my own master file I cannot click on App_Master and add a .master file.

I need to create the .master outside and then drag it to App_Master folder.

See video which makes it a bit more clear. www.marktold.com/screencast/thunder_add_master.swf

Hello Markus,

This limitation comes from ASP.NET. App_Data is one of the ASP.NET application folders and many of the default item templates are forbidden in it and all of its subfolders.

Dear Marin

Thanks for the answer. It would be nice if Thunder had an Workaround here :-)
