Setting permissions on Libraries

How do I do this?

OK, I know that there is a 'set permissions for this Library' option, but I can't change anything as all it says is that 'this page inherits permissions from it's parent'.

I need to limit access to certain libraries to given roles.

Worryingly, I can't set permissions for a specific document inside a library either.

Hello Stuart Hemming,

If the current role has permissions to edit the content of the album then the users belonging to this role will be able to see the items in it. Other than that please review the attached screen cast illustrating how to set permissions.
