Styling the Pager function in the Newsroom

By default SF 4.1x has this: <sf:Pager id="pager" runat="server"></sf:Pager>

For several pages, it appears as: 123

We want to do something like: Page 1  2  3

How would one accomplish this? Is there a global place we could make this edit?
