Is it possible to apply a custom widget template based on a theme being chosen?

When I choose a custom theme, will all of the custom widget templates in the same folder automatically be applied, or will I have to customize each widget as I drag it into the page?

Hello Dan,

Thank you for using our services.

Your custom css theme doesn't include widget templates. It consists of css stylesheets and images. You can see the exact folder structure of a theme here. Widget templates, on the other hand, are .ascx files, which can be applied to a particular widget or globally to all instances of this widget. If you're applying the template to an exact widget you can do that by entering the relative path to the widget in its LayoutTemplatePath property. If you want to map the template globally, you have to go to Administration -> Settings-> ViewMap and create a new ViewMap instance.

Let me know if you need additional assistance.
