How to install/enable responsive design

Hi,

I want to test responsive design, but I can't install/enable it and I didn't find any resources to see how to enable it. I have standard edition.
If you know how to install it please let me know.

Thanks,
Illes

Hey Illes,

The Responsive Module is not part of the standard license, but a paid add-on. You can verify if you have the functionality for it by going to Administration >> Version and Licensing.

Under extensions there should be listed "Mobile Design"...

Hey Jochem,

Thanks for your answer. Do you know if there is a posibility to test it without to pay it?

Thanks

Dear Illes

Go to http://sitefinity.com/try-now   (maybe a bit later - I get an error at the moment)

The sandboxes should have this feature to try (not sure anymore). Also responsive design is as far as I know implemented for Sitefinity internal Templates only.

Hi Markus,

Thanks. It seems that "Response design" is in trial version.

Hey Markus,

The respsonsive design isn't implemented 'just' for their internal templates, it makes the regions you create with the lay-out editor (edit page or template) responsive. If you follow the proper naming pattern, hardcoded areas from your masterpage will also become responsive - after all, it is just a bunch of css rules...
