Uploading multiple images to a custom module from code.

I have a Custom module which includes Images and text. I need to build from the web page an easy way to allow company employees to create/edit/delete content from this custom module. I saw there is a way to get the create and delete code directly from module builder, but I need to know how can I implement the images upload feature from code. Is there an easy or out-of-the-box way to do this??
