Hi,

When using the SDK in Windows 7 with Kaspersky Internet Security I get a script error when trying to open any of the How tos and samples.

It is attached.

Thanks,

Seth

Hi Seth Cleaver,

Thank you for using our services.

Are you running the .hta file from the desktop? There are some problems when running the file from the desktop. If you try running the file from the install directory there should be no problems. The next release of Sitefinity 4.0 SDK will be using a WPF application instead of the .hta file and those problems will not be present.

Hi Seth Cleaver,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Can you please open the .hta file for edit (you can do it through Visual Studio and see if the paths to the resources are correct:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="VBScript" EVENT="OnClick" FOR="HowToModule">
<!--
Set WshShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
WshShell.Run ("Documentation\How_to_create_a_basic_module_4.0_Beta.pdf")
-->
</SCRIPT>

Is there a Documentation directory in the same directory where the .hta file is contained which has the referenced resource?

Sincerely yours,
