Is there an option in the ResourceLinker that would allow me to specify that I only want a resource to download for Design Mode, Live, or Both?

...if not...can you add that in as a feature request? :)

Hi Steve,

The control does not have option to specify whether the script will be loaded only in Design, Live, Preview. I will add this as a feature request(386493).

Currently this could be done with a custom control.

IsDesignMode is extension static method which determines whether the control is in Sitefinity design mode - you are editing a page. There are also

IsPreviewMode- determines whether the control is in Sitefinity preview mode.
IsBackend -determines whether a control instance is in backend.

Awesome thx, it'd be super nice to have a property available in the template to just choose which mode to use.

fyi, fantastic feature...everything being compressed into one request is crazy convenient :)
