Thumbnail selector for news items

Hi,

Ive just been looking at the following post: www.sitefinity.com/.../creating_a_thumbnail_selector_for_news_items.aspx, which describes how to build a thumbnail selector which can be used in a module, such as the news module. I just have one simple question before starting the development.

As sitefinity already has controls such as the MediaContentSelectorView, is it not just possible to implement one of these into a module. It seems like we are replicating much of the existing functionality here? The ideal dialog to open here is the same one used on the Image widget - is this not possible?

You can use MediaContentSelectorView. I am not sure whether you have checked this post
