4.1 SDK Install error

Hi

I have built a brand new Windows 7 64BIT pc, I have installed the Sitefinity Projects Manager and created a test site.
I then downloaded the latest Sitefinity SDK.It will not install saying I NEED TO INSTALL SITEFINITY.
It is installed

Hi,

Can you make sure that you have installed properly Sitefinity 4.1 and also the SDK needs to be setup in the same folder as Sitefinity.

I have been installing Sitefinity 4.0 from the beta stages without any problem.I have installed SF 4.1
I still get the same error as i have described.

I am also seeing this issue with Win7 64bit.  I have Sitefinity 4.1 project manager running with a project that was created previously.  I did go through the instructions of adding the project and it's running.  However I can't seem to install the SDK.  Here's my log file:

I have version 4.1.1395 Sitefinity Project Manager running and get the same error when installing Sitefinity_SDK_4.1.1339.msi on Windows 2003 Server.

Same error here.

If you need only some files, which are contained in the SDK a workaround may be to extract the files from the MSI file.

Open the command line and type:

msiexec /a Path-To-MSI-File /qb TARGETDIR=Directory-To-Extract-To

For Example:
Msi file is located in c:\
An new folder sf41-sdk was created in c:\

msiexec /a c:\Sitefinity_SDK_4.1.1339.0.msi /qb TARGETDIR=c:\sf41-sdk

Doing this, i managed to get contents extracted to the folder described obove. Also the SDK Browser runs.

I made it, to install the SDK properly.

I'm not sure but I guess I only installed/extracted the Project Manager and not Sitefinity. Download the MSI and not the ZIP from Telerik (see Screenshot) and try again to install the SDK.
