Edit mode for an MVC app - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hello everyone,

Wondering if you can help me by explaining how we can find out in an MVC widget if the user is in edit mode. As it is an MVC app, the context this.isEditMode does not seem to work. Can anyone advise please?

Sitefinity provides an extension method IsDesignMode which can help you resolve whether you are currently in page edit mode or live. More information about this functionality can be found on this blog post.
