Minimum resource package

Hi guys,

The documentation for resource packages (github.com/.../Feather-resource-packages) is good but only refers to the sample packages and from what I can tell if I just create a folder under ~/ResourcePackages/MyPackageName then I can modify and use my package from that folder.

It looks like the minimum I need is a GridSystem/Templates folder (with a file), a MVC/Views folder (with a view) and maybe an assets folder (where I would have my js/css/etc. files). Do I need the package.json file for sitefinity/feather to recognize the package? Also wondering what the client-components/field/html-field content is for? Each package has one but what is it used for? Just trying to figure out a starting point for a resource package rather than trying to cannibilize an existing one.

Thanks
