Hi,

How can I disable the Feather form builder and revert back to the standard forms if I installed Feather and don't want to use feather forms.

Thanks,
Steve

Hi,

You cannot disable the Feather form builder (unless you disable the entire Feather module), but you can choose which Form builder to use by switching the Web Framework from the "Advanced" menu when creating a new form.

I hope this will help!

Where would I find the "Advanced" menu when creating a form?

I have looked everywhere for the "Advanced" menu and cannot find it. Except in the backend pages for the forms control but there is no "Web Framework" property there either.

Hi,

Does anyone know where the "Advanced" menu is?

Thank you,
Steve

Hi,

Here's a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/tOTQtE1M5y

It is not technically a menu, it's rather an expandable settings panel, apologies for the confusion.

Hi Mariush,

I found the problem, it appears to be a bug. The "Advanced" menu only shows up when the Marketo module is activated.

Is there a workaround for this? Can I add the Framework field manually in the FormsConfig file?

Thanks,
Steve

Yes, this is a known issue and there's no workaround for it, unfortunately.

Is the Marketo module a free Sitefinity add-on? If our clients don't have Marketo then we can't select the framework?

Is there a timeline for a fix?

Thanks,
Steve

Hello,

@Steve: The bug where the Marketo module is required in order to change the framework of Sitefintiy form is resolved in internal build 8.2.5911.0. Update Sitefinity to this internal build to benefit from the fix. Update to all internal builds is fully supported and no database changes are introduced in internal builds to ensure that those can be applied to any site without the need to re-test the all the site functionality like in the case when performing an upgrade to an upper Sitefinity version e.g. 8.2 -> 9.0.

Marketo connector is a Sitefinity module that is available with Sitefinity Online Marketing edition.
