Please use SQL 2008R2 instead of SQL 2014 for all your samples
The documentation states that the tutorial Create a DevMagazine Site only requires SQL Server 2008R2. Somebody updated the code on GitHub to SQL Server 2014. Can someone please drop it back down to SQL Server 2008R2?
I think you guys are underestimating the impact of requiring people to install SQL Server 2014 in order to run the demos. I will not install a trial version of SQL Server 2014 just to see how the demos work. And I will never adopt Feather without having demos to play around with. There are many many people who feel the same way.
Not meaning to derail thread... Just a note to say that using Sitefinity without Feather means you're really missing out on the best thing to happen to Sitefinity in forever...
My advice is - don't let this tiny problem get in your way of using the great Feather!
You may be right Stephen2, Feather may be the best thing to happen to Sitefinity. If it really is the best thing, than it's sad that they aren't doing everything possible to ensure it's adoption. I'll wait till we upgrade one of our servers to SQL 2014 or until the demos work with SQL Server 2008R2, like it says in the documentation for the DevMagazine Site tutorial.
