Newsletter Content Creation
I'm trying to create a newsletter which is somewhat professionally formatted (like teleriks) ....but right now I can only get a fugly disaster.
See attached
1) Content in the editor is restricted, where the resulting newsletter is NOT restricted to a width, just flows page width
2) Bottom row renders in the center column, not as a footer...not sure why, I see the markup as three stacked tables...perhaps it's the full-screen width causing the issue?
3) Events and News listing URLs are incorrect, the page to show the news is missing....local.sf4.ocfp.on.ca:80/.../49th-annual-scientific-assembly
4) I appear to be unable to easily style anything...in fact h3 appears to have a style in the newsletter, but the emailed version has no styling at all.
5) First\Last name isn't coming over from the substitution controls (In test mode)
6) Can you give me a way to just edit the campaign message directly instead of Next, Next, Next, Next just to get there?
7) In the template editor when you get to create a template, then cancel out all the way back, the template is still created, but you need to refresh to see it.
8) Totally unable to change the template under "Use Template->Select Another Template"...seems stuck on one and change edit it.
9) Custom page layouts are available in the editor...but with no page theme, they're pointless and confusing, and moreover throw object reference errors when you put them on the page
10) Managed to get this

This happened when I edited a campaign webpage and did the following
1) Deleted the news\event widgets seen in the screenshot
2) Edited the News Content Widget (GC Widget which just had <h3>News</h3>), and added in an unordered list of lipsum items.
3) Saved
4) News Content Widget never updated
5) Errors everywhere...broken, can't even delete this Campaign
...so this is "supported" but still no were near ready to use unless you want to send basic plain-text newsletters?

Thanks for reporting the problems with the Newsletters module. These should be fixed for the 4.2 release. As for the WebUI newsletter - we will try to provide similar template as a built in template.
I believe it can be done to similar how you create a web site template. You have reported several bugs that could prevent you though.
