Is there a way to place a control on a template so it is shared among several pages, and then have the user be able to customize the content in that control on the page level. For example, we want to be able to have a template that has several placeholders for controls. Then on the template define one of these place holders to contain an image so that when the user edits the page, they will only be able to define an image in that place holder.

Hello Sarun Teeravechyan,

At the moment this is not possible with Sitefinity 4.1. It will not be a feature of Sitefinity 4.2 either. We have such a feature on our plan, however at the moment I am not able to provide you with information when this will be implemented.

Greetings,
