I've read this post http://www.sitefinity.com/40/help/developers-guide/how-to-how-to-create-a-thumbnail-selector-for-news.html and it almost works as I need. Is there a way to provide the service URL or the code some filter value so I can allow selection from a single album instead of all images?

Hello Allen,

The thumbnail selector uses GeneriContentBinder which has a property FilterExpression that you can use.
