Formatting RadScheduler Appointments Colors Based on Event C

I'm developing a calendar for a client where it is desired that the box for the appointment have a different color for different event categories.  I've searched the forums and reviewed the RadScheduler control, but I haven't had any luck finding a way to do this.

Somewhat related to this topic, I also need to the ability to limit the viewable events on the calendar to a specific category.

Can someone help?

If you define the event categories as custom resources per the RadScheduler - you can easily color the appointments based on the resources as shown in this demo. As you see in the same demo you can hide/show appointments per resource which can satisfy your requirement to have the "ability to limit the viewable events on the calendar to a specific category".
