Sorting the NewsList on client - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hi,

I'd like to know what would be the best way to implement manual sorting of the NewsView for the visitor of the website.
So, the visitor of the page should be able to apply a sort filter. The same you do inside the backend.

Hello Daniel,

Please excuse us for the belated response. It took us quite some time to create a sample custom control, which offers this functionality. We've inherited from the control's MasterListView, and are sorting the collection in the GetItems() method. You will find the control and its template attached to my post. If you need some additional information or have any other questions, please let us know, we'll be glad to help.
