Default Image re-size selection when creating image library

Hi,

When creating an image library you have the  "Default image size" property and then you have a radio button to select either to resize the images or not. We choose the second option is resize the images and you have a dropdown menu which shows the size options. By default it says, "Select size" as selected. Is there a away to make this selected dropdown menu option to "Larger: 800px width" option globally, so that when you users select this option it will be defaulted to 800px? We are trying to set this so that all the images that are uploaded will be resized to 800px, even tough the user forget to select this option. Can this be achieved globally? Do we have any other alternatives to accomplish this?

Unfortunately, setting the default value globally isn't possible at the moment. As this is not acceptable, we have logged it as a bug in our system and will do our best to make the functionality available soon.

Thank you for you response. As this is a template, is there a way that we could create a custom template that could override the "Select size" checked option to  "Larger: 800px width".

Currently this isn't possible, because of the bug, which is logged with high priority in our system. We will need some time to investigate it and determine its root. Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.
