How to create Custom Blog Post Catagories List with blog post count?

Hi Team,

i want to create a custom Category list of Blog posts with blog post count and i want to filter  blogs by clicking on categories list usercontrol. I need some help in filtering blogs based on categories, please help me how to set properties for this funtionality.
