Hello,

Is there a way to reduce/customize the amount of memory used by ORM in Sitefinity? I would also like to use 2nd level cache to help control memory usage in SF if that is possible. The goal being to configure SF to reduce the amount of memory needed for SF to function while it is idle between requests.

Hi Thomas,

Can you elaborate a little more on the questions, as I'm not completely sure I understand what you mean. If you want to use second-level (data) cache, this is by default turned on (through its Open Access implementation) and cannot be controlled from Sitefinity.
