Is it possible to make a Custom Module for existing data tables that do not inherit from Telerik.Sitefinity.Model.Content?

and if so can those tables contain surrogate keys?

Hi John,

The database mapping for the dynamic modules is dynamically created for each module. Open Access uses the name of the type and its fields to generated the name of the tables to which the dynamic type maps.

The functionality for  mapping the tables is not publicly exposed so, for the moment, there is no way to override it or extend it in a way so that you can map dynamic type to existing tables.
