Search Custom Module Example? - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Is there a video or a good sample out there that shows how to filter a custom module built with Sitefinity 5.0? I've created a module with 5 fields and I wanted to create a search page that will filter the results. I'd like to search two text fields, a category type and one Yes/No field. I watched the "Showcase" video and I'm able to filter by category type but I wasn't sure how to filter by multiple values.
