How we can sync database(Sql server) within multiple develop

Hello,
What is the process to update CMS content (database - Sql server in my case) changes done by any developer, So that other team members can take the latest changes and can utilise the changes done by one developer.
For exp in Sitecore CMS: One developer can serialize the content/templates and commit the changes in repository and other team members take the latest changes from the repository and can de-serialize it. And all the team members can take the updates through this exercise only.
While during final deployment we can take the advantage of "Packaging".

So, on very higher level I am looking for corresponding functionalities in Sitefinity.
a) Serialize / De-Serialize
b) Packaging
