Navigation with different images foreach item

Dear All,

i'm working to find a solution without developing a custom navigation to try to insert a background image foreach item in the first level menu. The problems are that each image item in the first level menu must be different.
Another think, there's a way to edit directly from the visual studio or something the page templates ? (i found howto make this for the widgets, but not for the page templates)
Someone can Help me ?

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately there's no source code to see howto. The CleanNav is only dll, i can decompile it but if it's possible i prefer an example.

We've create a module that allows for the upload of an image against any given page, which then gets pulled out in the nav control.It is a custom nav control, which you have mentioned you didn't want to go down that road.
