News Item URLs - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hi,

I am trying to deal with the URL format of the news item widget but am running into an issue with the single news item. I have my news item widget on the page /news but when I click a news item it is giving a 404 if the URL is /news/item-title and works for /news/news/item-title. I can't figure out for the life of me what is going on. This forum post is the closest thing to what I am describing:

Hello Richard,

Is the generated url of the news item /news/news or you have to add the second 'news' manually to make it work?
