Publishing an ASP.Net MVC Application as a Widget in Sitefin

Up until now, I have been using ASP.Net Web Forms to create my User Controls which I have then been publishing as Widgets in my Sitefinity v. 5.x pages.  However, I would now like to convert over to using ASP.Net MVC 3/ASP.Net MVC 4 in my development, therefore, is there any way to publish ASP.Net MVC Web Applications as Widgets within Sitefinity v. 5.x Pages?  If so, what is the process to follow to get this to work?

Please advise.
