Dynamic Content via Module Builder - Categories not working

Hi, 

I am using Sitefinity 5.2 

I am using the Module Builder to make some modules. 

When I attempt to add Categories to them, the categories get added; however, the filtering by category doesn't seem to work when I use the new content on a page. 

Is this a problem anyone else has had? 

What's weird is if I delete one of the records in the db in the dbo.People (my dynamic module) table, then they filter correctly. Somehow the categories don't seem to be getting mapped to the correct baseid. Should it be mapped to the 'live' baseid' or the 'master'?

Hi Dave,

That is correct. This is a bug in 5.2 and lower.  You should upgrade to 5.3 if you want this to be resolved.

I had the same problems. After the upgrade, everything works okay.
