Keywords property length in Sitefinity 3.7 - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hi,

We have developed a website on Sitefinity 3.7 SP3. Our client is trying set keywords for certain pages in the website using Sitefinity backend. He's constantly getting an error - "Value for property Keywords is too long. Maximun length is 500" while trying to set some 200 odd keywords. We would like to know what is the maximum limit allowed by Sitefinity 3.7 for Page keywords property. Also please let us know if the length is in characters or words.

Hi Saumitra,

The error you are getting is because of the 500 character maximum for the keywords. This is the recommended length by most search engines. Please shorten your list to 500 characters or less and the problem should go away.
