Exclude page from Sitefinity search (not google and co)
Hello Everyone,
How can we exclude a page from internal sitefinity search. The checkbox "Allow search engines to index this page" seems to work with only google and friends. How can we do that for internal search.

In the above thread, guy from sitefinity said this,
If you want to exclude a cms page from the internal index, you need to create a custom class that inherits from PagePipe and override ConvertImportedItemForMapping where you can implement your filter.
If this is the only way to do it, can anyone expand this solution, its kind of too vague for me.

This has been logged as a feature for our future release. We have a blog post, where a custom pipe, which excludes pages from indexing is prepared by one of my colleagues. You may find it useful:
