Is it possible to separate tags/categories by site in Multisite?
Is it possible to separate tags/categories by site in Multisite? Currently if I use a tags widget it shows all of the tags (whether I want them or not). This was even a problem with one site, but now appears to be an even greater problem - mixing in more tags and categories that don't relate to a specific site. For example, In our multisite instance we have our Library department site. They have tags like -- Author Event, Book Sale, Summer Reading.. etc. The County Fair site will have tags like -- rodeo, demolition derby, pet show, etc... I really really need to be able to separate these by site somehow. I assumed this would be how multisite worked, but that doesn't appear to be the case. When I delete a tag while in one 'site' it deletes the tag in the other site as well... Is there a way to get his to work how we're wanting it?

Unfortunately, this functionality is not implemented for Multisite management. By default Categories and Tags are shown for all sites. We have logged this feature request in our PITS. You can find it here in PITS and vote for its popularity.
