Sitefinity 3.7 cmsmode

Is there a way to create a link that I can use to navigate to a page in the backend? There is a cms mode 'edit', 'preview', but those links go into the page rather then simply displaying the page in the backend. The view I want to reach for a page is the one where I can go to 'properties' and hit save (without actually going into the page).

it's been a while since I've used 3.7, however, if the edit page that you are seeking to link to has its own Url (perhaps with an ID of the page you want to modify) then you should have no problem linking to that page. You can get the PageID from the API and append it to the link.

If the page you desire is only accessible by clicking a link in the backend admin and posting back to the page to reload it, then I'm afraid you are probably out of luck.

I hope this is helpful, let me know if I've misunderstood the question or can be of any further help!
