Asterisk next to required form fields?

I'm curious if there's a way to have the SF form generator to automatically put an asterisk next to the required fields.

While I know I can manually put it into the name, our business group creating these isn't that thorough. I'm looking for something automated. Thanks.

You could perhaps fire off some javascript to "click" the button thus triggering required and adding the required text?

I don't think there's a way to show it by default, but you can always open up Advanced mode of the control and go to the Validator section to see all the options.

I've compared the code and there doesn't seem to be any way of doing this, a bit of an oversight I think, all it needs is an extra CSS class adding to the containing DIV
