Creating a widget that can be used by third parties??

I have a desire to create  a MVC widget for Sitefinity sites that can be run on a variety of sites. I have seen several videos on creating MVC widgets for a site but none of them seem to cover the process for deploying those widgets to other sites.

Am I missing something? Is there a document or video explaining that process?
Ultimately I would like to provide those widgets as part of the marketplace.

If you want to publish your widget in our market place you can use the most suitable approach for you. You can provide the whole code for your widget or provide just an assembly including it. Keep in mind that when your widgets are published you will need to provide support for them.
