How to create Custom Forum thread fields - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hi all
I need to create a custom field to my forum threads. The field will be an integer field and should be saved with each thread, based on the id in the querystring. Anyone have an idea of how this is done in forums ??

Hello,

You can use the approach described here. The solution is provided for pages, but it will work on forum threads too.
Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
