Documents and Files Security with Download List widget - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hello,

I have a client on Sitefinity 6.2. They've secured documents using Sitefinity users in the backend (Sitefinity authentication is used across the site), but the documents are still accessible even when not logged in at all. Does the document security only apply to the backend? Is there a way to secure documents from being downloaded with the Download List widget?

Hi Jason,

I was not able to reproduce this on my end. Would it be possible to record a video or a screenshot of how your permissions for the documents are set?
