Your documentation is quite unclear. I can not figure out how to get to the screen referenced in the screenshot here:

Hi Chris,

The dialog you are referring to is displayed when Thunder detects a GUID property on the control/widget. I have attache an image for your reference. From the Field drop down you can select the the Guid property you have defined in the control and assign a suitable selector type to it.
