Widget Pagination Page Titles for SEO
Hi there, I currently have a few pages on our site using various different widgets and content types that all have some pagination happening.
What happens is that when you go to page 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever is that they all have the same generated SEO page title content in the <title> tag. Is there any way to extend all controls out of the box to append even something like a "Page 2" on to the end of the SEO page titles so we don't get dinged for duplicate page titles?
Thanks.
Hello Darcy,
I am not sure if this approach is correct as what will happen if you have several widgets with paging? Which page title should be considered? The idea about having paging is that all items are on the same page, but instead of consuming much screen space to "compact" them using widget`s paging option.
Despite that, this could be achieved by resolving the url (the pager adds a query string, so can be used to distinguish the pages) of each page on Page_Load event (you can add code behind from Title&Properties as shown on this screenshot)
Hope this information helps.
