Using Bootstrap Carousel with Sitefinity Master Page - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

I am trying to implement a Boostrap carousel/slider with an existing SItefinity v. 7.3 Master Page. I cannot switch over to completely using Boostrap yet as with the Sitefinity Feather packages or creating a completely new Bootstrap SItefinity Master Page because re-designing the Theme and skinning for navigation will take a significant amount of effort and is still out of scope for now.

I have been able to add the Bootstrap carousel to one of my test pages, however, the carousel does not render properly for some reason and I cannot figure out why since everything else seems to be in place.

I figured it out. I needed to add a JavaScript to jQuery to get the Bootstrap carousel to work.
