SF 6.3 Translation Detail Items 404

Hi there,

 I have got a Sitefinity 6.3 instance configured with multiple languages switched by domain which presents the following problem.

The news page which displays all news items, even the ones which are not translated (ItemLanguageFallback = true), works fine, but when clicking on one item to get to the detailed  view the user is presented with a 404-error (if the item is not translated). 

 E.g.

somesite.com/news or

somesite-german.com/news show all items even the ones not translated for german

 somesite.com/news/detail/2015/02/12/some-news-title => shows the detail

 somesite-german.com/news/detail/2015/02/12/some-news-title  => 404

 I would like the detail page to display the fallback as well. Where is the sense in having the possibility to view not translated items in overview but not in detail?

 Please don't tell me that every item has to have a translated counterpart as this problem does affect all content items I have on the page and it does not make any sense to clone all of them and so cause a huge amount of maintenance issues.
