Project Manager and URL

I've noticed that the project manager starts the server using http://localhost:number/ProjectName/etc

However, I've imported my wordpress blogs using:

github.com/.../WordPressToSitefinity

And the blogs posts use URLs in the format http://localhost:number/etc, i.e. they don't have the Project Name in the URL.  This will work in live, but not on my machine.  Is there a way so that Project Manager just uses http://localhost:number/

In order to set the format as described, you can set the project on IIS.
